Please help us by being part of the first group in our area to sign up for emergency alerts for your home! CodeRED will send you personalized weather and other emergency alerts to your cell phone or land line. You can even request text messages. All information is kept confidential.
These alerts are based upon the physical location of your address. Signing up is simple and only requires a few minutes and a little bit of information–name, address, phone number and carrier (AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, etc). Select the notifications you would like to receive, check your information and submit. You also have the option to get a test call. You can set up an account if you want, but you don’t have to to receive alerts.

Click Here and follow the directions.
The County of Franklin has contracted with Emergency Communications Network to license its CodeRED high-speed notification solution. The CodeRED system provides county officials the ability to quickly deliver messages to targeted areas or the entire county. One of the reasons the CodeRED system was selected is it gives individuals and businesses the ability to add their own phone numbers directly into the system’s database, this is an extremely important feature.
I signed up a couple years ago and am not receiving warnings.
Please contact our office at (479) 667-4909 between 8:00 am and 4:30pm during the week and I’ll be happy to see if we can figure out what may be wrong. Some folks have googled it and tried to sign up that way but to receive the county’s warnings the link on our website needs to be used. We can re-set your information and send you a test call. Thank you for letting us know!
